pstack is an open-source set of Cursor agent skills by poteto (Lauren Tan), in the pstack/ directory of the GitHub repository cursor/plugins, under the MIT license. It treats Cursor as a small engineering team with separate jobs: write less, and make each change verifiable. The default entry in the installed plugin is /poteto-mode. This is an unofficial Chinese learning site for reading the translations alongside that plugin. It does not ship a Chinese plugin.

Before you start, run two commands in Cursor. /setup-pstack writes the model and budget for this machine. /poteto-mode picks a playbook and moves one checkable step at a time.

In Cursor chat, run /add-plugin pstack. After Cursor confirms the install, run /setup-pstack, choose models, then open a new chat for the first task. Install is one command plus a short conversation.

This website does not replace that install. The skills/ tree in the site repository is a Chinese reading copy. Do not load it as a second plugin.

Start with 认识 pstack and 构成与关系. You do not need to memorize every skill first. Those two pages name the parts and who calls whom. Then read the install chapter of the 官方指南 and Poteto Mode.

When you run it, use the plugin you installed: /setup-pstack, then /poteto-mode on a small real task.

How is pstack different from a Cursor rule?

Section titled “How is pstack different from a Cursor rule?”

They are different. A Cursor rule is an .mdc file. A pstack skill is the script and the division of work. The closest piece inside pstack is ~/.cursor/rules/pstack-models.mdc, written by /setup-pstack. That rule only picks who plays which role and how deep the budget goes. It does not teach the code.

A skill is the script and the division of work. An agent is the role contract, not a Cursor rule. Playbooks live under /poteto-mode and say how that kind of task proceeds.

No. It is an unofficial Chinese learning site, and it is not affiliated with poteto. It does not ship a Chinese plugin, and it does not redistribute the official plugin.

The commands you run in Cursor come from the official plugin you installed. The Chinese pages here are for reading alongside that plugin.

The Skills translations follow one commit of the pstack/ directory in the official repo cursor/plugins. A file is translated when the English there changed. If the English did not change and only the Chinese did, that change is listed in the version record and a person has to accept it before it merges.

English article pages reprint poteto’s posts word for word. The Chinese article pages were translated once. They do not follow later edits to the original.

Yes, if Cursor is installed and the official pstack plugin is installed. Asking in Chinese is fine. The skill files are still English, and you still need to recognize the command and step names.

Do not point Cursor at this site’s skills/ directory and treat it as a second plugin.

Details: 中文开发者能直接用吗.

The official plugin does not install as-is into Claude Code or Codex. The procedures and principles can move. The Cursor-specific orchestration does not: Task, dedicated agents, and Cursor rules paths.
